I like to credit where I can and I'd appreciate that if you reblog anything to keep the credit when it is present. It doesn't mean that you have to keep my username on there but just the original source. Thank you. :)
The real lob city!GOT ‘EM: Dwight’s first bucket as a Laker comes from on a lob from Pau Gasol. Get ready to see that another 15,000 times this season.
P. Gasol: 23 Pts, 17 Reb, 6 Ast, 1 Stl, 4 Blk
A. Bynum: 16 Pts, 18 Reb, 6 Blk
“I was proud to be a Laker.” :( Such a shitty situation to be in.“I guess that means I’m a Laker if the trade didn’t go through. I don’t know what to do for the Lakers. I’m even weirded out by the league doing what they did. I don’t know what to do.
Imagine how Pau [Gasol] feels. Pau came to the Lakers and played here for four years, went to the Finals and lost, won two NBA championships and then got swept [by the Dallas Mavericks this year]. Wow! Imagine how he must feel.
Man, I’m just in total disbelief about all of this. They don’t want my services, for whatever reason. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I was proud to be a Laker, so I’ll try to help them in the process as much as possible.”
- Lamar Odom on the current trade/non-trade situation between the Lakers & Hornets.
Lakers - 107, Warriors - 83
Lamar Odom had his 3rd straight double-double, getting 16 points & 14 rebounds. Kobe had his 3rd straight 20-point game, and commented afterwards that his knee was at “100%, so you can stop asking me.” Pau Gasol was the leading scorer with 26 points, and 12 boards to go along with it.
The 24-point win was never truly in jeopardy which allowed the Lakers to rest their starters the entire 4th quarter. Matt Barnes was the leading scorer off the bench with 7 points and 6 rebounds.
